Josh Allan Dykstra is a recognized thought leader on the future of work and company culture design. He is a Co-Founder of The Work Revolution, a movement/advocacy group that promotes human and meaningful work for everyone. He has an eclectic work background in a variety of industries, varying from Fortune 500 companies like Apple, Sony, HTC, Genentech, Starbucks, and Viacom/CBS to startups, nonprofits, and higher education. He has an MBA in Executive Leadership from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Leadership. His articles and ideas have been featured by media outlets like Fast Company, Forbes, Business Insider, MSN.com, and Under30CEO. Josh is a recognized expert in the fields of positive psychology and strengths-based management. He has advised C-suites and leaders at all levels in implementing a positive, “strengths” approach to recruiting, career development, and leadership development. He has been leading teams and working with talented individuals for over ten years, with a proven track record of increasing employee engagement. He has individually helped develop hundreds of high-potential leaders to discover and leverage their strengths. He is also a classically-trained pianist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and performer. His particular passions include social trends, cultural movements, technology, and helping to create a more positive future. Josh lives with his wife and daughter in Los Angeles, California.
