This 1-hour per week 4-session program is all about creating a self-care practice, finding ways to rebalance, re-energize, and yes, even, relax during these unprecedented times. We’re all learning to adjust to this “new normal”, and everyone is impacted in one way or another. We provide you with simple tools and tips to help you move forward in healthy and positive ways. 

Would you like to reduce stress, frustration and fear while creating more calm, clarity and joy? If you are struggling, like so many, to find time to care for yourself, even for a brief moment, then Jumpstart Self-Care will help you learn how to put yourself on your to-do list.

Self-care is not selfish, it’s the essential way forward as we navigate these challenging times. Our Jumpstart Self-Care program helps you put into practice healthy coping strategies, build resilience and prevent burnout. Jumpstart offers a safe, sacred space to learn, grow and practice simple techniques — including mindfulness — with the support of other women. The program is designed to encourage conversation, reflection, practice time and a dedicated triad to support your self-care.

Consider this a gift to yourself, just 1 hour a week for 4 weeks. 

Research shows that those who spend just 15 minutes a day exercising, meditating, feeling grateful — or engaging in any type of healthy activity that generates a feeling of joy —  increases serotonin (the happy hormone) in the brain, which allows us to feel better. This is why it’s vital that we learn how to build our internal resources, so that we can better manage our lives and be able to help those around us.

Jumpstart is based on Michelle Burke’s latest book, 15 Minute Pause: A Radical Reboot for Busy People, her 20 years+ experience, research and client work that has been largely dedicated to empowering women. Joining Michelle is her long-time colleague, Tina Bocheff, who brings invaluable insights and practical leadership and team management expertise.
